Bolton's Office Hours

[Want to chat with Bolton privately? Here is where you do it! Bolton's office hours will be held in conference room B in the library for approximately four hours in the morning several days a week. During that time the blinds will be drawn and that room will be off-limits unless you're there to talk to Bolton, though the other three study rooms will still be available for use.

I have some questions regarding our memories.

[Bolton leans back in his chair and kicks his feet up on the table.]

Sure. I can't guarantee I'll be able to give you the answer you're looking for but I'll do my best.

[She dips into a small bow.]

Right, I won't waste much of your time them. Are they really our memories? They haven't been tampered with, in any way?

[theoverseers]

They're all your own memories. The only thing that was done to them was locking them away, temporarily.

And how long ago did they happen? Before we came here, I mean.

[theoverseers]

I can't say, we don't really have a way of knowing what order you've been getting your memories back in.

I think you'll be able to tell when you get back your last one.

I didn't expect you'd be able to tell me that much... [The wryest of smiles.]

How about this one? Did that man kill my husband? Either by going against his word or because of my absence.

That's not something I can answer, Mrs. Ushiromiya.

[That's a memory you haven't gotten back yet.]

Is that because you aren't allowed to tell us or because you don't know?

It's because we're not allowed to give you information that you're not privy to yet - I can discuss what you do remember with you, but I can't tell you what you don't already know.

Is there a reason for that? Would what we've forgotten change how well you'd be able to manipulate us?

Is there a point in knowing? Everything's already happened.

[She flinches.]

And how do we know if you're trying to use someone who's already dead as a hostage?
