Jamie's Office Hours

[Want to chat with Jamie privately? Here is where you do it! . Jamie's office hours will be held in the art room for approximately four hours after lunch time several days a week. During that time, the room will be off-limits unless you're there to talk to Jamie.

[When Jamie takes his hand, Bolton moves in and puts his other hand on Jamie's waist.]

[theoverseers]

[He might not have the personal experience with this but he's watched this movie enough times to know it by heart. He rests his free hand on Bolton's shoulder.]

I thought the only dancing you did was jumping and punching.

[theoverseers]

Hey, I'm not such an old dog that I can't learn a few new tricks.

[He starts humming along (Xander was right, that's going to be stuck in his head for the next year), shifting so that he's holding Jamie's hand out to the side.

On the down beat, he steps forward to start dancing.]

[theoverseers]

Uh-huh. [Jamie follows along as best he can, surprisingly not stepping on any of Bolton's toes in the process. This is...nice. No, it's more than nice. It's romantic, probably the most romantic thing anyone has ever done for him.]

If you're not such an old dog, who's your trainer?

[theoverseers]

Take a wild guess.

[As he focuses on trying not to step on Jamie. The box step is slow, and careful, and after a few repetitions Bolton widens his stance to let Jamie spin out into the yo-yo twirl.]

[theoverseers]

[Oh and yo-yo twirl he does. It's less majestic than Belle being that he's in his painting clothes and has a little bit of titanium white stuck in his hair but when he comes back his eyes are bright and he couldn't wipe the grin off his face if he tried.]

I'm guessing the only person on the ship who knows how to dance.

[theoverseers]

[Bolton wraps his arms around Jamie and sways in place for a few steps, leaning in and kissing Jamie's neck.]

Mmhm. He's a good teacher, but I think I much prefer having you in my arms.

[theoverseers]

[Jamie hums a little, leaning in and resting his head on Bolton's shoulder.]

You know, when we get to Portland I'm going to start expecting these kinds of things every weekend.

[theoverseers]

I think I can make time for that.

[He says, as he kisses up to Jamie's ear, and then his cheek.]
