Hello? We had some questions, so I wanted to bring a few things up with you!

[theoverseers]

Come on in, Captain Misumaru! It's unlocked. [He still has no idea what she prefers to be called so hey, why not her actual official title?]

[ratherdoweddings]

[She takes a deep breath, swings the door open, and gives a V-sign. Shutting it behind her, she goes to sit down in one of the chairs.]

Don't worry, this probably won't take long at all! I just had some questions. Well, actually, we all had some questions! Oh, first of all, where did our Champion titles come from?

[theoverseers]

[Careful, Yurika, one of those chairs has a whole bunch of wet paintbrushes on it.

Jamie is sitting in front of a canvas, his hands and clothes (a t-shirt and jeans, a far cry from the business casual suit from the introduction) covered in dried paint and his wild hair pulled back into a tight bun at the base of his neck. He's not painting at the moment though, instead he's just chilling in the chair with a steaming mug in one hand and a thick paperback novel in the other.]

How do you mean?

Some of them make a lot of sense, but others are a little confusing. Lightning-san really doesn't like hers at all!

[theoverseers]

Everyone's titles were picked for them for a reason. [He reaches over to pick up one of the mugs and starts to take a sip before glancing into it, stopping, making a disgusted face and putting the mug down to pick up the other one.] Even if you don't know why yet.

[ratherdoweddings]

Oh, like our memories, right?

[she says casually.]

[theoverseers]

Yeah, like your memories. [He's surprisingly not cagey about it.]

[ratherdoweddings]

All right! [She clasps her hands in front of her.] So since you all wrote the profiles, that means you know more about us than we do. That's where the idea of motives came from, right? Jane-chan thought hers was silly, though. Are they not supposed to work on everyone?

[theoverseers]

Not everyone has huge regrets in their lives. Sometimes it's something huge, like doing something in a desperate situation you wouldn't have done otherwise. Sometimes it's the ice cream you dropped in the fourth grade. The motives don't have to work for everyone, [He sighs a little and looks at his canvas.] As long as they work for someone.

[ratherdoweddings]

I guess that works as well as anything... Are you feeling alright?

[theoverseers]

[He looks back to her, a little surprised.]

I- yeah, fine. Totally fine. Just overthinking, that's all.

[ratherdoweddings]

Well, I won't bother your art! Have a nice day~

[She gets up, bows, and walks off, mulling over everything she's heard.]
